GEORGIA CUP MTB SERIES

Ellijay, GA- Inland/ BTD’s Charlie Pendry made the solo journey down to Georgia to compete in another installment of the Georgia Cup Series. Pendry led the race from wire to wire to add a second Georgia Cup victory to give him a total of 6 Cross-country wins for the year.

HUCK-A-BUCK CHALLENGE

Raleigh, NC- Daniel Corum picked up Inland/ BTD’s 3rd victory in 4 weeks at the Huck-a-Buck challenge held at Lake Crabtree in Raleigh. Corum led 3 of the four laps to bring home his first victory of the year.

U.S. NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

West Dover, VT- Charlie Pendry, Daniel Corum, Matt Rotroff, and new team member Lucas Livermon attended the U.S. National MTB Championships riding the momentum the team had been building over the last few weeks. Matt Rotroff placed 8th in the Junior Expert race. Lucas Livermon and Daniel Corum placed 43rd and 44th in the Pro Men’s’ race. Charlie Pendry placed 24th in the Short Track event, while Livermon and Corum placed 48th and 49th.

NMBS #5 SUGAR MOUNTAIN

Banner Elk, NC- Inland Construction had a solid weekend of racing at the Sugar Mountain NMBS. Charlie Pendry placed 18th place in the cross-country race. Corum and Livermon placed 44th and 46th respectively in the 90+-rider field. Matt Rotroff finished less than a minute off of the winning time in the Junior X race to place 4th, in a highly competitive race.

In Sunday’s short track, Pendry placed 28th, while Lucas finished a career high 36th. Corum was the victim of a first lap crash that rendered him unable to finish the race. Matt had a repeat performance in the short track, placing a solid 4th in Junior Expert short track.

Inland Constructions Matt Rotroff leads the NORBA National Series in both the Cross Country and Short Track, making his statement as the best 18 year old in the country.
