Inland Construction Cyclocross

Nov 17 2006, Hendersonville, NC- UCI Cyclocross came to North Carolina for the second straight year for two days of racing. Inland Constructions Elite Cyclocross trio of Charlie Pendry, Charlie Storm and John Degele were looking to defend their home turf, along with a host of Inland’s club members, who are currently dominating the NC Cross Series’ new team rankings.

In the Elite Men’s Race, Storm placed 5th on day one and 4th on day two. Charlie Pendry had his breakthrough cross performances in Elite cross with a 7th on day one and a 6th on day two. John Degele placed a solid 23rd on both days.

Inland Construction at the Cross Races

Inland Construction’s two Charlie’s, Pendry and Storm, worked well together at the 2nd NC Series cross race this in Cary, NC past weekend, but could not keep Richard Sach’s John Hamblen close enough to get the win in the Men’s CX 1-2 race. Hamblen won by a minute with Storm taking 2nd and Pendry a close third place. Inland’s Daniel Corum took 11th in the race.

Inland Construction’s Bo Glenn won the CX 4 race immediately after taking 12th in the Master’s 35+ race.

New to the NC Cross series this season is a team competition. Inland Construction leads this competition by almost twice the point’s total of the second place team.

207 riders competed.
