Inland Construction riders were in force at the first NC Cyclocross series race in Salisbury, NC this past weekend. Eight Inland riders raced, with Charlie Pendry highlighting the weekend with his 2nd place finish in the Men’s CX 1-2 race. Pendry finished just 26 seconds back of Richard Sach’s John Hamblen. Inland-BTD’s John Degele took 7th in the same race. Other results were:

Elite Cross team member, Charlie Storm traveled to the Delaware and Philadelphia UCI events this weekend. Charlie placed 26th in Delaware and 24th in Philly in the men’s elite fields. Storm won the Men’s 35+ race by a minute on day two.

We will be hosting the second annual Cross and Chase Classic at Meredith College on Sunday, October 15. The cyclocross race will take place on a new course on Meredith’s campus in Raleigh, NC. The CX race will be followed by a 5k steeplechase run on the course.

The Back to Dirt racing gang wrapped up its 6th annual cyclocross training series which it hosted every Wednesday from September 13 to October 11 in Cary, NC. The training rides/interval workouts were well attended. Inland Construction Elite Cross teammates, Charlie Pendry, Daniel Corum, Rob Moran, and John Degele spent some extra time each week helping less experienced riders with cross technique.

On September 23-24, Inland Construction’s John Degele and Charlie Storm Raced the Michigan UCI cross events. Storm Placed 12th and 10th on the weekend and John Degele Placed 21st and 24th.

On September 30 and October 1, Charlie Storm raced the two UCI events in Long Island, NY. Storm placed 22nd and 19th on the weekend.

This past weekend, on October 15th, the BTD Racing group hosted its annual cyclocross race at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. 121 Rides were in attendance. Many Inland riders did well:

The Inland Construction Guys and gals will begin their preparations for cyclocross season this weekend at three criteriums in the Winston Salem, NC area.

The Back to Dirt racing gang will host its 6th annual cyclocross training series weekly, beginning next week in Cary, NC.

Inland Construction’s elite cyclocross team gets its season started early this season with three straight UCI Cross weekends beginning September 24 in Michigan, with successive weekends in New York and Massachusetts.

On the Off weekend, October 15th, the BTD Racing group will host its annual cyclocross race at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC.
