JUNE 12-13 NORBA NMBS #4 SNOWSHOE, WV

BTD Racing had a strong showing this past weekend at round #4 of the National Mountain Bike Series. Charlie Pendry led the way with a 19th place finish in the Pro men’s cross country. Dan Doub finished 23rd and Charlie Storm 33rd. As usual at Snowshoe, there was plenty of rain, leaving the course laden in West Virginia mud.

Pendry said that his Fuji hardtail with Magura Disc Brakes, DT Swiss Wheels, Thomson post and stem, and Hutchinson Tires was the ultimate machine for this course which put high demands on having reliable equipment. “The new Bulldog tires hooked up in the wet like no other tire I have ever ridden.”

On day two, Pendry and Doub were eaqually successful in the Short Track event. Dan Doub finished 17th and Charlie Pendry 33rd.

BTD team manager Jimmy Bruner rode to a impressive 9th place in the expert men’s 40-45 race and club racer, Kevin Hall was 27th in the Semi-pro field.

Next week the team travels to Mt Snow, VT for NORBA NMBS #5.
